The Business & Human Rights Research and Advocacy initiative by the Planetary Collaboration is committed to making a significant impact in the field of human rights. We actively engage with global stakeholders and provide input on international mechanisms, undertaking research on various aspects of human rights, with a particular focus on business and human rights.

In 2023, we completed a research project titled "ESG 2.0: The new perspective for human rights due diligence". The research was presented at the 9th International Conference "Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, Ethics and Governance: Towards an ESG World" held in Santander, Spain. Also, we have contributed to the United Nations Human Rights Council's Call for input: Extractive sector, just transition and human rights, specifically addressing the Working Group on Business and Human Rights.

Additionally, we are undertaking two significant research projects. The first research explores "Good Practices for States' Collaboration and knowledge sharing," considering the UNECE Economic Cooperation and Integration framework. It aims to identify effective strategies for enhancing intergovernmental collaboration on Human Rights. The second research focuses on applying our exclusive TRIP Methodology to policy development and implementation. Both research projects seek to contribute valuable insights and practical recommendations for knowledge management in policy and cooperation.
